27 March 2007 13:08alright so i hadn't gotten around to posting on my birthday yet. haven't quite found the time really. it was fun. i was quite pleased with the turnout of attendance. we stayed at the essen haus for a couple hours. started with a boot, then scott decided we needed to do steins... um... my fucking god... 5L of beer. we did two. i thought we only did 2 boots, i'm told there where at least 4. so if anyone is not doing the math, that is 18L of beer consumed by about 12 people... egads
after the last boot was consumed, and bills paid (there's still some confusion to this as they lost my initial tab for the boot, and they kept my check card, must go get that back) we trudged up to the Dane. lost scott along the way (we noticed him talking up some chick at the cardinal *snicker*) but he reappeared later. i manged to piss off the snotty bartender by ordering a sampler. yes i know they're a pain in the ass to pour, but the $10 tip i gave him should have made it well worth it... prick.
had me a good time. drank waaaay too much fucking beer. then the shots where probably a bad idea, but meh. went back to my place, attempted to play guitar hero and then passed the fuck out.
sunday was a miserable horrible morning. i needed to die. spent the first few hours tyring to force myself to vomit out the toxins. then i napped. woke up to a kitty curled up in my shoulder and a trevor curled up by my legs. talk about adorable. and, thank fucking god, i felt better.

flamestar_m hung around for the majority of the day (she was also battling the hang-over from hell). i watched trevor play some x-men on the ps2 and ate pizza rolls (mmm... greasy pizza rolls are the cure-all). in the evening we dropped flamestar_m at her car, had dinner at perkins and then rented x-men and x-men 2 (since someone had not seen them yet) and called it a lazy movie night.
it turned out to be a very very nice way to spend my birthday. i was pleased.
now i have work today and for half of tomorrow. but! i get to sleep in for the rest of the week! yay sleeping in! i decided that since i have a dentist appointment at 11am tomorrow that instead of taking my half day in the afternoon that i would sleep in, go to the dentist and then go to work. which works out nicely since there is a run in WoW tonight. so i can stay up however late i want. and trevor is happy because he doesn't get woken up at 6am when the alarm goes off. ;)
thursday i have an early appointment to get my taxes done. i'm thinking, that after i find out what the actual and final damage will be, i'm going to go car browsing. i don't say shopping because i still have a few things i need to figure out (like the apartment issue) but i want a better idea of what i can get, if i can even get a loan and i want to talk to my insurance agent about cost of insurance on a few choice vehicles.
other than that. i have time off and no real plans. this makes me so very happy. now to jsut get through the rest of today...
