on an up note!

exairianhad a very nice weekend... saturday was the bridal shower, which was fun. and then ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
_souvraya_'s wedding. saw several people that i hadn't seen in forever. chatted, brought up funny memories, danced, drank... in general, had a blast. yay!
slept in sunday becuase i was hungover (duh) finally got up, putzed about. picked up j and headed downtown. had a very nice walk up state st, visitedjuniperlore at work, then ran into not_eurotic who was pimpin shows at the 'no. wandered around inside the capital for a bit and then walked down to the terrace. sat out on the rooftop patio, overlooking lake monona and hung out for a good hour or so. then headed back towards state. picked up lore along the way and decided to find food. ran into onesoul and lostlostagain in front of the orpheum. chatted then decided on dinner at tutto pasta. drank a pitcher of not so good sangria, had pretty good pasta and then headed for the car.
all in all it was a very very nice day. haven't wandered like that in awhile and it was fun bumping into people.
tonight we will be doing something... probaly last minute birthday dinner with mj's mum.
tomorrow is episode 2 and clone wars at our place and then episode 3 on thursday. the rest of the week is sparse in events...
well not necessarily true. we got invited to go up north but since all but 3 people have off on friday, it was quickly figured out that i would not be getting friday off at all, or even out early for that matter. so who knows...
