exairianweekend has been good, thus far! woo!
friday night lore and matt came over for dinner and movies. dawn of the dead is good and bad. no sorry. just bad. yeah. it was bad. however night of the demons was fucking god awful! and capped the night with the ring. in which we all fell asleep.
saturday we headed out around noonish for costume shopping. do you have any idea how hard it is to find roller skates in this town? oi. called play it again and they don't even take roller skates for resale. a bust at st. vinnies and savers, however, i finally hit the jackpot at a resale shop just off of state. i managed to get all the pieces of my costume! it only took about 7 hours! hehe...
had some issues getting ready. couldn't get my hair to flip to save my life. fucking hair and it's inability to form. so i had to go with stick strait hair but it was still good. then the skates where an issue because whoever owned them last put in these god awful short leopard print laces on them. so i WAS going to break an ankle if i tried to wear them like that. plus they had taken the inside padding out so my toes where on screws. decided to make a last minute run to shopko for both.
so my 70's roller girl was finally complete and a hit! i had a lot of people telling me i was very brave, you know i hadn't worn roller skates in like 10 plus years and here i am, relearning in a crowded bar!
the inferno was awesome last night. a lot of great costumes. including danny in stilts as jack skellington! you wanna talk brave! mj was looking awesome as god the tourist. hehehe. and everyone else did excellent as well.
after the costume contest we headed out to egons' for their halloween party. sat around and watched ju-on which is not a terribly good film either. and i had two too many cosmos and had to pretty much pushed home. (yay rollerskates!)
