i mentioned last week that the life company is having a halloween decorating contest for the teams. and i was all excited. and i volunteered to help right away.
well i haven't heard anything back from my manager. i'm not surprised as she is in her office all of about an hour a day. but she emailed us once on it, i know she will email us when she has all the details and who's involved and what not.
anyways. i let my boss be because she is busy.
however. mk is starting to panic because 'oh my god!' we can start decorating on monday and we haven't heard anything! so she calls one of the other team members who does all this and says 'well i think i'll just start the ball rolling and get the planning done' then she calls my boss. and i can hear every word of the message she left for penny. it went something like this:
i just wanted to leave you a message in regards to the decorating contest. i haven't heard anything from you and while i would really like to start planning, since we can start to decorate on monday, i need more information. i'm not entirely sure about what we can and can't do. i just wanted to leave you a message and stress the urgency on this matter. if you could call me back i'm going to schedule a meeting with everyone so that we can start planning and working on it.
is it me or is it NOT HER FUCKING BUSINESS TO BE SCHEDULING TEAM MEETINGS ON ANYTHING?!
just a thought.
oh and i'm no longer volunteering. she told me what her big grand scheme is "what if we do 'haunted hallways!'" my response "well that's sort of what the whole thing for the company is. i mean, the contest is called haunted life"
