oi vey!

okay so. lots of stuff.

yesterday at work sucked balls. no really, it did. my one manager things i'm completely incapable of taking parties of 6 or more during lunch. what's funny is the only days i've ever screwed things up have been her shifts. she's one of those really over stressed people who run around all crazy like and snap at everyone... yeah... so i'm one of those people who instantly reflects the emotions of others, so when she gets all crazy stressed, so do i. and then i fuck things up.... and it sucks. no really it does. oh and i made a whopping $28 for 5.5 hours of work... *sigh*

the good news is that i rushed home to meet up with shannon and take her car shopping. i got home, checked my email and i had a "check your email" post from lostlostagain! so after getting all confused about which email i put on my resume, i finally found an email from the Wisconsin Historical Society about that job he slipped my resume in for last month! weeeeeeee! called today and i have an interview for next thursday! woot! so then i check my other email and apex emailed me with more work! wow! so now i have a really good excuse to not work lunches during the week at pedro's!

then shannon and i ran off to go car shopping. she needs a really cheap beater right now. something that will last her at least a year but that she can buy outright or have super low payments on. so we went to a bunch of lots on the east side and a few on the beltline. the best she found was a '99 grand prix that they would get rid of for $3000. but i don't like it. the car has about 128,000 miles on it and it looks kinda like crap. so yeah. i did spot a really cute 2001 kia spectra for $5000! she says that's too much, but i don't think so. i'd buy the damn thing myself if i had the money. it was black and in excellent condition, about 90,000 miles on it, but it was well maintained... *sigh* bet we coulda talked them down a little bit more (it was originally posted for $7000) anyways... yeah... car shopping was a bust.

so i dropped shannon off at home and mj and i headed downtown to bw3's. made the obligatory stops at exclusive and b-sides (ie: the blythe gets bored time and she needs to stop it because it makes mj sad) and then food at bw3's. had a nummy chicken wrap and two pitchers of honey veiss and trivia. somehow, no wings where involved in the whole thing. weird. anyways. it was nice to hang and chat and trivia and stuff.

after bw3's came the 'no. saw lots of people, which was cool. i got 40 awesome minutes of footage for class. not_eurotic rocked, as usual and psych0tron was cool enough to let me tape him as well. we left after caustic's set cuz mj was falling asleep at the table, poor boy... but all is well. now i just gotta tape stochasticthry in april and a few halo's for djs and get some interviews. mj and i are going to start brainstorming questions soon, i think.

speaking of mj, the sweet, wonderfull boy left me the mp3 player and my choice of headphones out on my desk so i wouldn't forget them! he rocks!

ok. off for a bit. gotta see what's up with the apex stuff and school.
